Patients could save money by buying prescription drugs through online pharmacy discount programs instead of through traditional insurance plans. Researchers at the Univ. of Toledo looked at 20 commonly prescribed generic drugs and compared the prices people paid out of pocket with prices advertised by discount pharmacy card programs from Amazon and GoodRx. They found at least 1 out of 5 prescriptions were cheaper through discount card programs. The estimated potential savings were substantial: about $969 million for Amazon Pharmacy users and about $1.83 billion for GoodRx users.
Delta ranks as the highest-rated domestic airline, according to luggage storage company Bounce. Bounce says Delta has the best on-time arrival rate at nearly 82%, and one of the lowest cancellations rates. It also ranks high for in-flight entertainment, meals, seat comfort, and staff service. Southwest is No. 2, followed by Hawaiian Airlines, Alaska Airlines, United and American. Frontier and Allegiant rank last.
