The Supreme Court is taking up two major Biden administration efforts to bump up the nation’s vaccination rate against COVID at a time of spiking cases because of the omicron variant.
The justices today will hear arguments about whether to allow the administration to enforce a vaccine-or-testing requirement that applies to large employers and a separate vaccine mandate for most health care workers. The outcome may determine the fate of vaccine requirements affecting more than 80 million people.
The travel industry will have to “roll with the punches” as government requirements continue to evolve with the pandemic. That’s the word from travel services firm Collinson Group. Collinson told CNBC testing and vaccinations will continue to be part of the process of travel for this year and possibly next, and that the travel industry will just have to adjust as things change.
