Airlines and other tourism-related businesses are pushing the White House to draw up a plan to boost international travel and eliminate restrictions by May 1. More than two dozen groups want people who have been vaccinated to be exempt from testing requirements before entering the U.S. They also want the CDC to say that vaccinated people can travel safely.
Royal Caribbean says the Vision of the Seas will start cruising from Bermuda in June, joining the Adventure of the Seas, which will also start in June from the Bahamas. It’s expected guests over the age of 18 will need to be vaccinated while guests under 18 will need to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test. Bookings will open next Monday.
Crude oil is now in correction territory, with prices down nearly 13% from a recent high over $66 a barrel.
