Drivers are still getting a bit of a break at the pump, due to stagnant demand and decreased oil prices. AAA says nationwide, gas prices fell on average by nine cents to $3.44 for the week ending November 2. That’s 37 cents less than a month ago and 32 cents less than a year ago. AAA says there are now thousands of gas stations selling regular below $3 a gallon and even a few that have dipped below $2.
The best cruise line for families? Disney. U.S. News and World Report says Disney receives accolades for its whimsical amenities and well-equipped staterooms. Disney Cruise Line offers youth clubs, movie theaters and themed pools. Guests also get to eat in Disney-themed main dining rooms and attend character meet-and-greets. Second-best for families is Royal Caribbean, followed by Carnival, Norwegian, and MSG.
Futures point to a slightly higher open after stocks posted strong gains on Friday. The Dow Industrials rose 222, the Nasdaq added 184 and the S&P 500 was up 40.
