A new container terminal is coming to the Port of New Orleans. After unanimous approval at its Board of Commissioners meeting last week, the Port is moving ahead to buy property in St. Bernard Parish and launch a two-year due diligence and permitting period. The terminal would serve the largest container vessels calling in the Gulf.
