A sustainable aviation fuel plant could be in the works for the state. Louisiana Economic Development announced today that Washington D.C.-based DG Fuels is evaluating a 3,000-acre site in St. James Parish for a potential sustainable fuel plant that would create more than 1,000 direct new jobs and potentially thousands more indirect jobs.
U.S. oil futures extended their rebound to a second day. The new front-month contract, for May delivery of crude, leaped 2.7 percent to $69.67 a barrel.
