The Biden Administration has announced the sale of one million barrels of gasoline to reduce prices at the pump ahead of record-breaking travel for
the July 4th holiday. According to Triple A, the average gas price will be $3.49 per gallon nationwide tomorrow. Sixty million drivers are expected to hit the road for celebration.
Paramount controlling shareholder National Amusements has reached a preliminary deal with David Ellison’s Skydance to pass on control of the
media conglomerate. The renewed push comes just weeks after an earlier deal died, in part over what a person familiar said were concerns by Redstone that the deal had been altered too far. Paramount’s special committee is currently reviewing and voting on the new deal.
On Wall Street, stock futures are mixed. On Tuesday, the Dow Industrials gained 162, the Nasdaq up 149 and the S&P 500 up 33.
