New Orleans City Government has allowed Mardi Gras krewes to roll in Uptown and Algiers on their old routes.
Krewes will be allowed to roll between February 10-21, if they wish to return to pre-2021 parade routes. They must, however, hire outside cops to supplement the depleted NOPD force if they want to stray from the city's standard route.
