DETROIT (WWJ) When a Detroit woman’s car was stolen, she took matters into her own hands.

A thief stole Bianca Chambers’ Mercedes, that she shares with her boyfriend, on Sunday, according to WDIV. She asked friends on Facebook to be on the lookout for her missing car.

Within hours, someone reported they had seen the white car near Grand River and Greenfield. The driver drove away before she could confront him, according to reports.

On Tuesday, her car was seen parked near the clothing store she owned.

On Wednesday, she finally caught up with the man. She told WDIV she wanted to give him a “good old-fashioned a** whooping.”

“At that point, ‘I’m not letting this man walk again,” Chambers said. She drove to the barber shop where her car was spotted to surprise the accused thief, who was getting his dreadlock twisted.

In a video posted by WDIV, you can hear her say: “Excuse me. You got that Benz out there?" as she walked into the barber shop.

An inaudible exchange follows before the camera starts to shake, indicating an altercation.

She reportedly dragged the teen suspect toward the door by his hair while other customers tried to intervene. She also slashed all four tires of her own vehicle so he couldn’t drive away while she called police.

“I didn’t know how long it would take for police to pull up,” she said. “And I refused to let him pull off again.”
