Thousands reported outages Tuesday morning on social media platforms owned by Meta, including Facebook and Instagram.
Users are encountering error messages when attempting to log into their accounts. While trying to log in, error messages like "Something went wrong. Please try again,” come up.
As of 10:30 a.m., Downdetector received over 300,000 outage reports specifically for Facebook.

By 11 a.m., Downdetector received over 500,000 error reports from affected users.
Despite the widespread disruptions, Meta has not issued an official statement regarding the cause of the outage.
Users shared posts on X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their difficulties in accessing their accounts.
