Don't be surprised to see costumed characters all around downtown New Orleans the next few days.
"The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is the place to be for all pop culture fans this weekend," the Downtown Development District posted. "Dozens of celebrities, voice actors, and comic creators will be on site for three days of Q&A sessions, autograph signings, and photo ops."
Many people who attend the event dress like their favorite characters from film, TV and comics.
"A huge part of the show is the thousands of amazing costumes on display as fans participate in cosplay competitions and red carpets. There will also be panels, demos, workshops to enhance skills, video game tournaments, tabletop gaming, fan meetups, and so much more."
Celebs attending the event this year include Henry "The Fonz" Winkler, Carl "Apollo Creed" Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito from Breaking and Better Call Saul. Others include cast members from Stranger Things, Harry Potter, Star Trek spinoffs, Star Wars spinoffs, Trailer Park Boys and more.
