Police in Houma are looking for a suspect who shot a 60-year-old woman Friday afternoon while she was picking her grandchildren up from school.
The woman was shot in the torso around 1pm in the 600 block of Grinage Street by a man who then ran away, according to the Houma Police Department. The HPD released an image of the suspected shooter taken from surveillance footage.
The woman is being treated for her wounds at a local hospital.
