New Orleans Police Department traffic fatality detectives are investigating a deadly hit-and-run in the Bywater.
Police say shortly before 4:30 a.m. Saturday, officers were sent to investigate a call of a bicyclist struck in that location.
The victim died on the scene.
"The pictured vehicle is believed to be the vehicle that struck the victim in this incident," said police in a statement. "It is described as a dark gray or black four-door sedan, possibly a Nissan or Toyota, with damage to the windshield and headlight on the passenger side."

Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward.
