New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the 600 block of Moss Street.
Police say shortly after 2:30 p.m. Thursday, officers were sent to investigate a call of a shooting in that location.
"Upon arrival, officers located two victims – an adult male and adult female – who sustained gunshot wounds," said police in a statement. "Both victims were transported via EMS to a local hospital, where the male victim was later declared deceased. The female victim was last listed in stable condition."

Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
