Terrebonne Parish authorities are investigating a deadly double-shooting.
The sheriff's office says it happened around 6 p.m. Tuesday in an apartment in the 700 block of Bayou Gardens Boulevard.
There, deputies found a 19-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound and an 18-year-old woman who was critically wounded.
"This is an active and ongoing investigation," said Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet, "We are committed to finding justice for the victims and their families, and we encourage anyone with information to come forward."
