Four people have now been arrested after a teenager was killed and two other people were injured in a drive-by shooting in Ponchatoula that took place on Sunday afternoon.
The Ponchatoula Police Department identified the three initial suspects as 16-year-old Ray Delmer Carter, along with 19-year-old Julius Troyvon Glass Jr., and 18-year-old Kera Wolbers. All three face charges of first degree murder, attempted murder, and other charges in the shootings that killed 17-year-old Marvin Wells and sent two others to the hospital. All three were taken into custody Monday morning in Kentwood.
Later in the day Monday, Tangipahoa Parish authorities arrested 50-year-old Dorris Carter in connection with the case. Investigators say Carter owns the home at which the three suspects were found. Carter is facing three counts of felony accessory after the fact and one count of failure to report the commission of a crime.
Ponchatoula police say they later found the car and guns used in the drive-by shooting.
The case remains under investigation.
