An accident on the I-610 East involving a DOTD Mobile Assistance Patrol or MAP truck has traffic crawling on what is a busy holiday travel day.
The vehicle has the right lane of the interstate blocked and is backing up eastbound traffic through the I-610 split past Canal Boulevard.
Traffic going westbound on the opposite side of the Interstate is also crawling due to onlookers driving by.
