The boil advisory that went into effect early Saturday morning for Algiers residents has been lifted, except for one area, the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board announced Monday evening.
A section of Algiers between the Westbank Expressway, General De Gaulle Drive, Behrman Place, and the parish line, however, is still under boil precaution because tests found e. coli in the water.
Because of continued positive tests in the Memorial Park area, SWB is flushing fire hydrants in an effort to purge the system.
Results from the latest test samples will be available Tuesday.
