Angola Prison’s inmate rodeo will not happen due to concerns over COVID-19.
The Angola Prison Fall Rodeo is canceled. It follows many other fall festivals canceled due to the pandemic.
The rodeo was scheduled for each Sunday in October. The crafts fair, which is part of the rodeo, is also canceled.
Staff with the Louisiana State Penitentiary will contact people who bought tickets and issue a refund.
