New Orleans Police report five separate shootings overnight.
The first began just after 8pm at Morrison and Alabama in the Seventh District.
A man was shot in the wrist.
He was taken to a hospital by EMS.
Then around 9:45pm, on South Liberty and Martin Luther King, a man sustained a number of gunshot wounds, but was able to make their own way to a hospital.
Later that night there was a shooting in the Seventh District off Chef Menteur and Crowder just before midnight.
The victim was shot a number times and was evacuated to a hospital by EMS. No suspect is in custody.
Around the same time, a woman was shot near the corner of Carondolet and Canal.
The victim in this shooting made their own way to a local hospital for treatment.
Another occurred before 1am as an armed robbery, this occurred in the Fourth District near the intersection of Behrman and Socrates Streets.
The victim was shot numerous times.
They were transported to a hospital by EMS.
No other information is known about these incidents.
