The suspect is identified as 19-year old Johtre Isaiah Scott of Edgard.
He facing charges of one count of first degree murder for the murder of 29-year old Darzil Washington.
Scott was also wanted on four counts of attempted first degree murder for shooting of 32-year-old Darville Washington, 27-year-old Dwayne Williams, 35-year-old Jayvon Lockett and a 14-year-old juvenile.
Scott was taken in custody just before 10am Friday on 13th Street in Edgard without incident.
