The St. Tammany Coroner's Office has released the autopsy report on a Cleco worker who died last week.
"The Cause of Death (COD) was low-voltage electrocution and the Manner of Death (MOD) was accidental," according to a news release. "Wade Singletary, 38, of Burns Road in Pearl River, died July 2."
Authorities have not released details of the accident that left Singletary dead, but Slidell police said he "gave his life in the line of duty."
Slidell PD and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office posted tributes.
"Wade was well known in our local area and very much respected. May he rest in peace and his family and friends find comfort during this difficult time," SPD shared.
STPSO posted, "Wade was one of those heroes. We honor his selfless service, and we grieve with those who knew and loved him."
