NOPD is looking for a driver that ran over a bicyclist and killed the man overnight.
It happened just before 11:00pm on North Claiborne and Clouet.
Investigators are asking for help finding the driver, who fled the scene of the fatal crash.
"The bicyclist was traveling on Clouet Street crossing N. Claiborne Ave. when he was struck by the driver of a gray or silver SUV that was traveling southbound on Clouet Street. After the driver of the SUV struck the bicyclist, he fled westbound on N. Claiborne Ave., over the bridge and then in an unknown direction," according to a news release.
EMS pronounced the unknown adult male dead on the scene.
