COVID-19 has decimated the ranks of the hospitality industry. Not by sickness, but through the economic downturn suffered over the past year.

Now, as New Orleans fights to recover the crown jewel of its economy, the hospitality industry, they need armies of new employees to staff up the hotels and restaurants that are coming back online!
To fill these roles, New Orleans and Company is holding a job fest at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center Wednesday, May Fifth from 9 am -to-11am and from 1 pm to 3 pm.
“An in-person socially distanced job fest with employers who are ready to hire people on the spot and conduct interviews there,” Schulz says.
And, as an added bonus to those who show up for the job fest:
“If you are coming to look for work, and you have not yet had an opportunity to get your COVID vaccine, we’re going to have some professionals there from LCMC Health who will be able to do vaccines right in our job fest area!”
