Donors have given more money to try and help capture the man who opened fire at the iconic Dooky Chase restaurant on Orleans Avenue Friday.

"We knew that the community was going to rally behind us and want to be able to do more," Darlene Cusanza with CrimeStoppers announce this morning.  "We are here to announce that reward has increased."

It was initially $5,000.

"Starting today the reward is $13.500."

Police chief Anne Kirkpatrick says many people had to witness or capture video of the shooting that started outride and ended inside the historic eatery.

She explained that the intended target ran into the area where people wait for a table as the shooter gunned him down.  Bullets also hit three women waiting for a table.

"It was in that little area that three victims who were shot and survived... they were in that foyer."

The chief says two of the women remain in the intensive care unit, while one was treated and released.

The male victim died on the scene.
