The Bogalusa Police Department confirmed two people have died following a small plane crash in a wooded area near the Bogalusa Airport. The crash happened at 10:48 am (CST), and the identities of the deceased have not been confirmed.
Major Michael Bracy of the Bogalusa PD stated that the cause of the crash is unknown and an investigation is underway.
