Residents in St. John the Baptist Parish no longer have to boil their water.
On Sunday, parish officials lifted the boil water advisory for Reserve, Garyville & Mt. Airy also for Lucy, Edgard & Wallace neighborhoods.
Test results from the Louisiana Department of Health are negative for contaminants and water is safe for consumption. Residents can resume normal water use.
