The big Halloween Parade, Krewe of BOO! rolls Saturday night in New Orleans.

"It's a great show, we're family friendly," the krewe's Brian Kern said. "Come on down to the Quarter and Warehouse District."

For the first time since 2018, the procession returns to its full route.

Kern says the Hard Rock Hotel collapse, COVID and a shortage of cops have kept the parade from it's full glory the past three years.

This time, the found cops from other agencies to fill the gaps left by a depleted NOPD.

"We ended up having to go out and secure about half the police officers," Kern told WWL TV.

He says throws will include pralines, moon pies, Chee Weez, coffee packets, light up beads, stuffed animals, t-shirts, candy and more.

"People need to just come out and have a good time. You're gonna catch a lot of quality items in the parade."
