If there's one thing Southerners love it's a Buc-ee's and all of those fans are about to get stopped in their tracks because of this: A new location may be coming to Louisiana.

OK, now here are the details: KADN News 15 in Lafayette says that sources have told them Buc-ee's is "seriously considering" a location in the heart of Acadiana, just off I-10 on Louisiana Avenue.
But wait, there's more! "There are other spots in Lafayette Parish also being looked at, but it appears this is the preferred choice."
Two other possibilities include Lafayette Parish and St. Martin Parish.
They noted, though that "a lot of things still need to come together to make the deal work."
Buc-ee's is known for unique and interesting convenience food, shopping, big and clean bathrooms, and the fact workers are well paid. And its popularity is exploding. A December reported noted that the Daytona Buc-ee's in the past 12 months drew an average of 14,794 visitors a day. That's 616 new customers an hour.
