A Hammond RV lot was the recent target of burglars, and the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office is searching for the suspects who broke into those motor homes.
According to TPSO Chief Jimmy Travis, someone broke into travel trailers, fifth-wheel campers, and sprinter vans on the lot at Great American RV, stealing power cords and Bluetooth speakers from those vehicles. In all, the burglar(s) stole more than $10,000 worth of items.
Deputies don't know exactly when the burglar(s) hit the lot, but Travis says investigators think they entered the property from the side of Interstate 12 because the burglarized units were call parked near the highway.
