Business: Oil companies slow to move to clean energy

New research finds four major oil companies aren't taking concrete steps to live up to their pledges to transition to clean energy.
The study from scientists in Japan finds Chevron, ExxonMobil, BP and Shell used terms like "climate," "low-carbon" and "transition" more frequently in recent annual reports and devised strategies around decarbonization. But their actions on clean energy were mostly pledges, and the companies remain financially reliant on fossil fuels.

Citing continued strong demand for delivery, DoorDash has reported numerous record highs:  quarterly total orders, gross order value and 25 million active users.  Fourth-quarter gross-order value increased to $11.2 billion, exceeding analysts’ expectations of $10.6 billion, on 369 million orders, more than expected. DoorDash says where it is today is better than pre-pandemic levels, and shares are up nearly 24% in premarket trading.
