Gunfire erupted on Canal Street in the 5 o’clock hour, three people were reportedly shot.
The shots rang out at the busy corner of Canal Street and North Claiborne Avenue.
According to New Orleans Police Department all three victims made their way to the hospital without the aid of the police or EMS.
The investigation is still under way, there are no other details available at this time.
