New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell has issued a warning on social media: Control COVID or face new crack downs.
"Our cases are on the rise!," the mayor posted. "We have ONE week to get them down or NOLA will have to issue more restrictions to #slowthespread."
She says hospitals and staff are under increasing pressure with climbing numbers of patients.
"Our current situation is hurting our healthcare system and our healthcare workers. They have done so much for us, mask up for them."
Cantrell not only wants to flatten the curve.
"Let’s #CrushTheCurve this week!" she posted.
