New Orleans's 12-day streak of going without a homicide has ended.
According to New Orleans police, a man was shot and killed Wednesday night in Central City. That shooting happened just after 10 p.m. on Washington Street near Baronne Street. When police arrived, they found the victim dead at the scene.
Investigators say the victim, who has not yet been identified, was shot multiple times.
