Cops say a fight between two juvenile brothers Tuesday ended with one of them dead, and the other child facing a murder charge.
"The NOPD is investigating a homicide by cutting," police said in a news release. "At about 4:00 p.m., officers were called to a stabbing in the 9800 block of Morrison Road."
They say they got there to find "a juvenile male, suffering from multiple stab wounds to the body."
The victim died at the hospital.
"Through the investigation, detectives determined that the juvenile victim and his juvenile brother were involved in an altercation that led to the perpetrator retrieving a knife and stabbing the victim multiple times. The family intervened and called for police and EMS," the news release continued.
NOPD did not say the ages nor names of the brothers.
"The juvenile male perpetrator was apprehended without incident on scene and was charged with Second Degree Murder."
