Cops say a bullet hit a child Sunday in New Orleans.
"The NOPD is investigating an Aggravated Battery by Shooting in the 800 block of Adele Street," Officer Reese Harper said in a news release. "Initial reports show that a male juvenile sustained at least one gunshot wound to his body."
Haprer says the victim was transported to a local hospital before any ambulance got there.
"The initial call was made at 4:08 P.M."
Police did not release further details.
