Cops are working to figure out how a child was shot Saturday night, and who shot him.
"The NOPD is investigating a shooting that occurred at an unknown location," Spokeswoman Karen Boudrie said in an email. "A juvenile male showed up at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg."
It happened just before 9:00pm.
Authorities did not say the age of the child, nor did they release any information about his condition.
