New Orleans Police say a man told them he accidently walked into another man Christmas Eve afternoon on Canal Street, and that led to the suspect stabbing the victim repeatedly.
An initial police report says, " The victim states he made a mistake and bumped into the suspect, they began to fist fight, and the suspect began to stab the victim multiple times."
NOPD says it happened shortly after 4:00pm Tuesday on Canal Street at Carondelet.
The suspect is described as an "Unknown heavy-set Black male."
There was no word on the victim's condition.
