Jefferson Parish Sheriffs are investigating a homicide that occurred last night in Metairie.
At around 8:45 pm yesterday, deputies were dispatched to the 6300 block of Riverside Drive in reference to a shooting.
They located a male victim who was shot at least once, and he was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
He later succumbed to his injuries.
There is no suspect or motive information available at this time.
