Interstate 610 will be closed all weekend while crews begin a $9.5 million construction project.
That closure begins at 11 p.m. Friday and ends at 5 a.m. Monday.
The project, which includes concrete patching and asphalt paving, will force crews to shut down both directions of the highway and all entrance and exit ramps along the stretch.
Interstate 10 will be the primary detour route.
