Cooler weather for Thanksgiving

Weather
NWS

A cold front has pushed through and dropped temperatures across Southeast Louisiana.

"The chill has returned," WWL TV Meteorologist Payton Malone said. "Expect the rest of the week to have cool afternoons in the 50s."

He says after a dry Wednesday with a few peaks of sunshine, Thanksgiving will be mostly cloudy with a few passing light showers.

"Temperatures tomorrow morning start in the 40s with the afternoon staying in the upper 50s. We stay cool mostly in the 50s Friday as well."
