New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the 2300 block of Delery Street.
Police say shortly after 5 p.m. Friday, officers were sent to investigate a call of a man shot in that location.
"Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who sustained multiple gunshot wounds," said police in a statement. "The victim was declared deceased on scene.."

Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
