The New Orleans Police Department is investigating reports of multiple vehicle burglaries in the 1700 block of Poydras Street Sunday night.
"Approximately seven vehicles located at the scene were found to have been burglarized," said New Orleans Police Department Public Information Office Aaron Looney. "Approximately seven additional piles of glass were also found at the scene where vehicles had been located, but those vehicles had left the scene prior to police investigation."
According to police, among the items stolen from these vehicles are two handguns and a Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office radio.
