Thibodaux Police say a massage parlor owner was arranging prostitution services from her business on Talbot Avenue. Officers arrested 47-year-old Xiuli Sun.
The investigation began in January, after investigators learned of possible illegal activity at the business.
"During the investigation, investigators learned that the business was listed on multiple websites which are commonly used for escorts, massage parlors, and prostitution," according to a police statement. "Based on all information collected during the investigation, an undercover officer was sent into the business, where a massage was negotiated with the operator/masseuse of the business."
Police say the masseuse offered additional services "of a sexual nature" for an added cost. Xiuli Sun was arrested for prostitution by massage.
The investigation continues and police say there may be more arrests.
