Tangipahoa Parish deputies say both women who allegedly stole three German shepherd puppies near Loranger have been arrested, but spokeswoman Ashley Rodrigue says they need help finding the dogs.
“At this time we are still needing the public to assist us in locating those puppies.”
Cops ask anyone who knows what the women did with the dogs to call them.
Sheriff Gerald Sticker encourages anyone with information about the location of the puppies to contact the Criminal Investigations Office at 985-748-3335.
Social media reports claim the woman were trying to rescue the dogs from the heat, but the suspects did not tell that to police.
The crime was caught on video at a home on Highway 40. The recording shows two woman taking the puppies from the house.
