Louisiana State Police today announced they have made progress in the search for seven remaining escaped inmates from the Orleans Parish Prison.

"We're confident at this time that we have actionable intelligence on all seven of those fugitives," Colonel Robert Hodges said during a news conference. "We hope in the coming days, if not the coming hours, that we have them all apprehended."
He stressed that they need more tips to find them all, saying they may be in other parishes or other states.
"We cannot do it alone."
The FBI today increased its reward to $10,000 per inmate. That's on top of the ATF $5,000 reward and the CrimeStoppers $5,000.
Hodges also warned that anyone who knows where the escapees are or is helping them; there will be consequences.
He said asked that if you have information regarding the location of these fugitives, please contact:
LSP Fusion Center: 225-925-4192
Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans: 504-822-1111
FBI - New Orleans: 1-800-CALL-FBI
