New Orleans Police say a criminal robbed a wheelchair-bound woman at Canal and Bourbon Street.
"The victim was sitting in her wheelchair when and unknown black male approached," according to an initial police report.
Investigators say the robber took the purse from around the victim's neck.
"The suspect then fled in an unknown direction."
It happened on Memorial Day morning shortly before 6:30am.
