The Louisiana Department of Health reports another 230 new cases of coronavirus today, on just 7,350 new tests. Total confirmed cases are 168,512.
The health department reports only nine new deaths, totaling 5,396.
Hospitalizations are up 29 today, at 547 -- that's still lower than last week's number, 563, and significantly lower than last month's number of 790.
