COVID-19 hospitalizations in Louisiana in today's report decreased more than it gained all week. 663 patients are hospitalized according to the Louisiana Department of Health, down 17 from yesterday.
500 more new confirmed cases today brings the state's total throughout the pandemic to 159,304. Another 17 deaths means a total 5,143 Louisianans have lost their lives to the disease.
