Cox Communications says a fiber line cut in Mid-City New Orleans has left the Westbank from Algiers to St. Charles Parish without service.
The line cut occurred around 7:45 this morning at an undisclosed location in Mid-City New Orleans.
The communities of Algiers, Westbank Jefferson Parish and St. Charles Parish are all without service.
Cox says they are investigating the outage and are working to have a restoration timeline to get service back online.
